Vertu 2015 First Launch: A Luxury Phone With Diamonds & Android 4.4

The first launch from Vertu, in 2015 is umm..an older phone with a sprinkle of diamonds. Vertu, a luxury mobile phone maker from England, has launched a few new versions of Vertu Aster & Signature Touch, android, expensive phones. They were first introduced in 2014. Vertu phones have always been about looks first and then technology. This time, too, that doesn’t change.

I like the red Aster from the new lot, so I shall introduce the new 2015 line with it. Red Aster Vertu is wrapped in Alligator skin and ornate with some diamonds. A total of 55 diamonds are lined on a stainless steel pillow. An interesting combination of metal, precious diamonds and red leather.

Also available this year will be the Black Aster diamonds alligator that blends 22 white diamonds with 33 black diamonds.

Vertu 2015 Signature Touch series too has a diamond edition phone, in 2015. With Android 4.4, the ‘Pure Jet Alligator Diamonds’ has power and style.  There are a total of 124 brilliant white diamonds set in a white gold pillow trim. The stereo sound bar too has white gold detail.

With a brushed and polished black Grade-5 PVD titanium back plate and sides it also features a white gold microphone port. This striking edition is finished in alligator skin crafted by specialist French and Italian tanneries.

Some of the specifications of Vertu 2015 luxury phone are quite similar to best high-end flagship phones from big players. It boasts of 2.3 Ghz quad core, Snapdragon 801 processor and Andrid 4.4. However, it’s 13 MP Hasselblad camera performance is average, like other signature touch luxury phones from Vertu.
