Roger Dubuis Emirates watch

A special watch, the Excalibur Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon has been created by Roger Dubuis to fund an auction run by Emirates foundation.

The Roger Dubuis Emirates watch is powered by the extremely technical RD01SQ movement, comprised of 301 parts that ensure greater precision thanks to a differential system that averages rates of both tourbillons. As with every other timepiece from the Roger Dubuis collections, the Excalibur Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon carries the Poinçon de Genève, seal of watchmaking excellence.

This new Roger Dubuis watch brings together, for the first time, a skeleton and the double flying tourbillion.

The ‘Time for Change’ auction will run from August 15th 2014 to March 15th 2015. Passengers on all Emirates flights can bid for a chance to own a collector’s dream by filling in a bid form in-flight. The winning bidder of Roger Dubuis Emirates watch will be invited for a VIP visit to the Roger Dubuis Manufacture in Geneva, Switzerland for an up-close look at the savoir-faire and mastery that go into fashioning some of the world’s most iconic timepieces. Winner will also meet master watchmaker who crafted the Roger Dubuis Emirates watch.
