Tag Heuer has way better novelties at Baselworld 2016, than last year. A bunch of new all Ceramic watches in Aquaracr 300M series, Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 02 Tourbillon, Tag Heuer Carrera 01 (2016 edition) and Tag Heuer Monza 40th Anniversary watches. Sadly no 2016 version of the smart watch! Well, the 1st Tag Heuer Smartwatch hasn’t really yet hit stores across the world. Perhaps we will see a new version of it sometime later in 2016. Here’s a quick look at the Tag Heuer full 2016 collection revealed at Baselworld 2016

Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Steel
TAG Heuer’s signature Chrono model HEUER-01 that was quite the hit last year is back in an all metal avatar. What’s particularly striking is the new metal bracelet made from H-shaped links with the Carrera design with alternating satin-finish and polished-finish. It blends in elegantly with the watch’s large, stylish case.
Heuer 01 in Titanium Circa 2016
There are two sleek timepieces to choose from – steel and titanium versions. The brand has retained its signature skeleton dial, which reveals the choronograph and in-house Calibre HEUER-01. The Carrera Heuer-01 Gray Phantom titanium watch in magnificent shades of grey is remarkable. New Tag Heuer 01 2016 collection is priced between 5000 CHF and 7000 CHF.
Heuer-01 Black Ceramic Rubber
Another interesting version of Tag Heuer’s iconic Chrono model HEUER-01 is this ceramic and rubber timepiece. The case, bezel, lugs and case middle are crafted from black ceramic. It is paired with a textured black rubber strap. To ensure optimal water resistance to 100 meters, steel is used in the functional parts of the watch.
Tag Heuer 02T Tourbillon
TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-02T has been one of the anticipated novelties at Baselworld 2016 for more reasons than one. It is the only COSC-certified automatic chronograph with Tourbillon produced by a Swiss watch maker at less than 15,000 CHF. Tag Heuer Tourbillon watch is priced at 14900 CHF precisely (a little over 10L INR). For that price, this watch is a steal!
40th Anniversary Heuer Monza Chronograph
TAG Heuer is celebrating 40 years of the iconic Heuer Monza Chronograph by unveiling a beautiful reissue. What’s new this time is the inclusion of the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale, which was not seen in previous versions.
Cushion Shaped Tag Watch
The original font is retained and so is the famous cushion case in all black, reminiscent of the historic model. The steel is replaced with grade 5 titanium and the “super racing” strap is in full-grain black calfskin. Collector’s piece this!
Diamonds on Aquaracer Lady Full Ceramic
For the very first time, Tag Heuer is launching its full ceramic range of watches. The collection has several new versions of the popular sports watch for women, Aquaracer Lady. Ladies can choose from all-white or all-black ceramic pieces. These are paired with a dazzling diamond bezel or a glamourous ring of rose gold. They also get a bigger case this time, 35mm, giving it a sportier exterior and appeal.
Aquaracer 300M Ceramic for Men
TAG Heuer continues its fascination for the deep seas with the all new Aquaracer 300M Ceramic. The Baselworld 2016 model has a larger case, 43mm, and is water resistant to 300 meters. This makes it perfect for extreme conditions and deep sea diving. Beating inside is the Automatic Calibre 5 mechanical movement. The restyled ceramic bezel and magnifier on the date window, which was also seen last year, are neat features. Dial is larger than previous versions at 43 mm.
