SK-II will sell in India through Nykaa’s online marketplace. The products will also retail offline at Nykaa’s Luxe stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The only other offline store to sell SK2 products in India will be Galeries Lafayette in Mumbai.

SK-II was launched in India by Golden Globe award-winning Japanese actress Anna Sawai, who was recently named its global ambassador.

P&G’s international team and Luxasia will handle distribution for SK2. Luxasia is an omni-channel luxury market distributor specialising in Asia-Pacific region. It is based in Singapore. Luxasia manages the skincare, fragrance and beauty distribution for over 100 brands across 15 markets, including major luxury players like Burberry, Bulgari, and Prada.

SK-II is a premium or prestige skincare brand under Procter & Gamble. P&G acquired it in 1991.

SK2’s entire product range is built around PITERA, a proprietary yeast-derived ingredient focused on skin health, anti-aging, and texture. Its most famous product is the Facial Treatment Essence that claims to improve skin at a cellular level. In India SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is priced approximately between ₹9000 and ₹21,000.

Additionally, SK-II also introduced its Magic Scan in India; an AI-driven diagnostic tool that uses touchless facial recognition to analyze skin.
