The new Vertu Constellation priced at nearly Rupees 4,75,000 or $7638 is a rather sombre entry in the luxury mobile phone maker’s constellation series.

Love the colours – vibrant and chic. Cappuccino, Black, Orange, Mocha and Raspberry are the select few colours that adorn the New Vertu Constellation. Vertu has used Calf skin as primary material to wrap the phone. Perhaps, Alligator skin would have done more justice to this design.
Compared to other luxury phones produced by Vertu, this one is light at 179 gms.
Front side of the phone is a precious 100-carat sapphire crystal glass. Tough & scratch resistant. Not resistant to scratch from your diamond ring, ofcourse! Crystal glass in 5.1 inch diagonally, under which sits a 4.3 inch HD screen.
Vertu Constellation priced between $7000 – $7638 does not use any precious stones except for the ruby studded Vertu Concierge key.
A volume rocker and power button are handcrafted on the other side.
Top side has a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro USb slot.
The new Vertu is constructed for a power user – to make a style statement & do everything that any smartphone can. Powered by a good dual core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.7 Ghz, New Constellation is fast, as per luxury phone standards.
It runs on Android 4.2 version. Latest Android software is 4.3.
There is plenty of boot space, 32GB inbuilt, to store applications, files and pictures.
New Vertu is fuelled by 1800mAh Li-ion battery, which is sufficient for long talk time and web surfing.
Backside camera is 13 MP with LED flash and HD recording capability. Vertu Ti too, has camera placed in a similar fashion.
A 1.3 camera above touch screen can be used for video calling or video chatting.
Two rather useful features exclusive to Vertu customers Vertu LIFE and Vertu CERTAINTY are available in New Constellation. Vertu CERTAINTY protects customer (with instant services), their Vertu phone and their data through best-in-class anti virus software by Kaspersky.
Exclusive tunes were recorded by London Symphony Orchestra to be included in ringtone list of phone.
Vertu constellation comes with a box full of all possible accessories one would need on the desk or on the go. A matching phone cover, too, is packed inside the box.
