LEOPARD gold ROLEX DATONA ORANGE STONE PRICE BASELWORLD-6

Leopard gold Rolex Daytona is among the most outrageous designs on a Daytona, ever. Wonder who would flash this watch around?

Launched in 2005, Leopard Daytona made its way to Christie’s auction; celebrating 50 years of Daytona. Expected to fetch about $42,000, Leopard gold Rolex Daytona sold at stellar auction price of $82,598. Clearly, it still has a demand.

Leopard, Gold Rolex Daytona is a rare piece that you won’t find in every watch store that sells Daytona watches. Only few pieces of Leopard gold Rolex Daytona have been produced. Low production of this watch is because of limited availability of yellow sapphire gems, ornating bezel.

When I got an opportunity to examine this rather curious piece of art from Rolex, I found it difficult to believe that it belonged to Daytona nomenclature (even though there have been nearly equally surprising designs on Daytona, before Leopard print). Tried on the watch for sake of curiosity, picture of which you will not find in gallery, cause I felt my wrist just did not do justice to a Leopard gold Rolex Daytona! It takes a lot of money and fashion forward attitude, to carry off a watch like that! Watch tested, is from an authorised Rolex dealer.

Leopard print is given two shades and bejewelled with 36 yellow sapphires on the bezel. 8 diamonds represent hours. Deployment clasp and dial case are made in 18K gold. Straps continue the shaded Leopard print on leather. Leopard gold Rolex Daytona is powered by Cal 4130 automatic movement. Its an oyster, perpetual calendar Cosmograph Daytona.

At an authorised Rolex Daytona retailer, price of Leopard Gold Rolex Daytona is Rupees 3962500/- or $65517 or Euro 47387.
