The 3-series BMW sedan is a cult classic in motoring circles. Finally launched in India BMW 320i is known for its nimble handling and punchy performance. Consider it a compact tire-slaying sedan with loads of luxury.
The Bavarian giants have launched the new BMW 320i petrol variant in India. It is available in 2 design schemes: Prestige & Luxury line. The 3-series portfolio already has the diesel-engined variant on sale in India. Unlike the diesel variants which are produced in Chennai, this is a CBU Unit (Completely Built-up).
The all new BMW 320i sedan features a 4-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. This new-gen powertrain produces 184 HP and a max. Torque of 270 NM. BMW engines are famed for their performance and agile power delivery. This one is no different, with a 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 235 km/h. The car comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission which is perfectly in-sync with the engine.
BMW’s EfficientDynamics strategy makes the BMW 320i an extremely potent and efficient car. Launched in Petrol and Diesel in India BMW 320i incorporates features such as Auto Start-Stop, 50:50 Weight Distribution, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Electronic Power Steering
Like a true BMW, it has to come loaded with technology that aid and enhance the driving experience. BMW’s patented and brilliant iDrive system is also present in the 320i. Other standard features include, BMW Apps, Park Distance Control (PDC), and Bluetooth and USB Connectivity for multimedia devices
The tech party continues inside in the Luxury line variant of the BMW 320i. It comes with BMW’s ConnectedDrive system which includes BMW Navigation system Professional (Integrated GPS) with 3D maps.
