Gold seems to be the new garb, for a gadget, to look elite. HTC has coated one of its best phones – The HTC One with 18 carat gold, to introduce a limited edition of 5 handsets. One of the Gold HTC One will be gifted to the winner of the Best Newcomer Award at the 18th MOBO Awards scheduled on 19th October, in Glasgow.

Each Gold HTC ONE is priced at £2,750.

HTC is the official sponsor of the MOBO Awards and has imprinted the award’s Logo and year of existence on the back side of the phone.

Nominees for the best newcomer MOBO Award are – Daley, Elli Ingram, Etta Bond, Jacob Banks, Krept and Konan, Fuse ODG, Sam Smith, Stylo GJahméne Douglas, and Shakka.

HTC One is constructed with a unibody case. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, quad core clocked to 1.7 GHz. It has an ultra pixel camera. The HTC one has a large fuel tank of 2300 mAh battery. HTC One Gold luxury phone, runs on Android 4.2 and will soon get an Android 4.3 update.

Apple too created a gold colour version of its new iPhone5S. Goldgenie has modified the exterior of the phone to add some real-gold swagger to it.
