Breitling has begun 2014 with a limited edition of the Chronomat 44 GMT Patrouille Suisse 50th anniversary watch. Produced in only 1000 pieces, the new Breitling 2014 chronomat is dedicated to Patrouille Swiss, a team of professional air force pilots who fly supersonic jets to perform aerial acrobatics. In the past, Breitling has created several special watches dedicated to Patrouille Suisse.
The new Bretiling 2014 chronomat displays two timezones. One timezone is the main dial. Second timezone is indicated by a red hand designed to represent F-5E Tiger II. This hand indicates time in 24 hours. A third timezone can be read from rubber inlaid numbers, on bidirectional ratcheted bezel.
Breitling 2014 chronomat 44 GMT Patrouille Suisse comes in a satin-brushed steel case with a black dial. Three mini dials represent 1/4th second, 30 minutes and 12 hours. The swiss air force special team has performed at several air shows across Europe with outstanding aerial acrobats. Chronograph’s 1/4 sec dial is decorated with Patrouille Suisse logo to honour the pilots who fly supersonic jets and their airborne feats.
Breitling 2014 Chronomat 44 GMT Patrouille Suisse 50th anniversary watch is water resistant to 200 meters. This new Breitling watch, houses Manufacture Breitling Caliber B04. It is a self winding watch, which means Chronomat 44 GMT does not need manual winding. Dial case diameter is 44 mm. Strap is diver steel strap. Two gaskets and a crown sit on the right side and are very easy to operate and control time.
