Longines’ new DolceVita watch is a gorgeous blend of rose gold and steel, with a shimmer of diamond for those who love bling. Rado has added an enigmatic twist to its Rado True watch collection by unveiling a translucent dial to catch a glimpse of the inner workings.

The new Longines DolceVita collection for Baselworld 2016

The DolceVita line has been Longines’ most sought after collection for women. Bringing together steel and gold in a timepiece became a sensation. This Baselworld, Longines’, true to its heritage, has upped its elegance quotient. A gorgeous blend of rose gold and steel, the new Longines DolceVita collection is elegance personified. Inspired by the Italian sweet life, the “Dolce Vita” is crafted especially for women who find joy in little pleasures. The geometric lines is enhanced by soft curves, giving the gorgeous timepieces a form of grace. A contemporary twist, with a traditional heart. Ultra feminine and oozing glamour, the new line features a solid rose gold crown and a dash of pink on the dial. This pairs beautifully with the rose gold and steel bracelet. On the face of the watch is a silver-coloured flinque dial highlighted with painted Roman numerals. It features, clean, light lines, inspired by the Rado True line of watches. The timepieces are crafted in polished white or matt black high-tech ceramic. The stylized cutouts in the dial, give it a spacious feel. But the true highlight of the watch is its enigmatic dial. A 0.6 mm wafer-thin mother-of-pearl layer floats over the dial, subtly reveals the mechanics within. Wearers can see the glides and twirls of the movement through its elegant iridescent dial. Ticking inside is the 11 ½ ETA C07.631 automatic movement with a power reserve up to 80 hours.
