New Vertu Signature Touch, is the first luxury mobile phone to match the prowess of a super smart phone. This new luxury phone from Vertu can do much more than a super smart phone i.e. look better than the rest.

There is no denying that Vertu is most experienced in making luxury mobile phones. It’s expensive phones have won buyers and created a niche in the industry. Which is why Vertu phone makers know exactly the kind of change that is required in new handsets to keep the interest growing in this niche segment.

What is it that makes the design of the New Vertu Signature Touch luxury mobile phone 2014, better than the rest. Vertu Signature Touch 2014 luxury mobile phone uses expensive metal, stones and leather, only where they look good. Vertu does not overdo the ‘upscale factor’.

The casing of Vertu’s new luxury phone is grade five titanium alloy, a material two-and-a-half times stronger than stainless steel. This metal is very light and thus does not add to the weight of phone. Some models in the Vertu Signature Touch range are covered in rose gold.

Screen is made of sapphire crystal glass which is strong and scratch resistant. A ruby decorates the Vertu Concierge service button. Alligator leather in choice of 10 colours is stitched in neat craftsmanship.

The body is designed in ‘V’ shape on both front and back for easy grip. Leather flows on the sides for comfortable grip. Look at the front where ceramic is used to form the ear pillow. Ceramic is used as it does not heat up. The pillow is shaped to fit an ear, for clear audio. Bottom side, phone takes a diving nose shape for comfortable hold and slim fit in pocket.

Back side of a phone has never looked this good. Leather with double stitching, dominates backside. Unlike most smartphones, Vertu has used a distinctive way of creating a sim tray. A sim compartment with a very interesting D Link latch, sits below camera. Every aspect of the sim compartment, too, is finely finished.

Unboxing a Vertu device is alway a pleasure and a truly luxurious experience. This time, Vertu has surprised me. It has left no facet, to allow anyone a chance to complain about Vertu using outdated tech. Vertu now sells wireless chargers for the new device!!

I wouldn’t recommend a Vertu owner to hide the new Signature Touch under any circumstances. However, if need be a slip-style case with two-tone stitching detail and a suede lining, with a choice of Jet or Claret calf leather, or Damson or Seaspray Lizard, comes in box!
