Jaquet Droz has captured images of horses beautifully on watch canvases, to celebrate new year 2014; the Chinese year of Horse. These artistic creations, the Jaquet Droz Horse watches are from the Ateliers d’Art series. All three watches have a limited production of 88 timepieces and will be available in 2014.

The three Jaquet Droz Horse watches use images of Arab horses and horses from northwest America as inspiration.

The swiss watch maker has used rose gold as the primary metal for horse sculptures. Jaquet Droz horse watches come in three different dial sizes of 39mm, 41mm and 43mm diameters.

A stunning thoroughbred horse from northwest America is sculpted and placed on dial of Petite Heure Minute 43 mm. Its amazing, how with great perfection the horse is materialised, by craftsmen at Jaquet Droz. The sculptural mustang prances beautifully from the black dial.

The 41mm Petite Heure Minute Jaquet Droz Horse watch reproduces the Great Wall of China in background. It is made by hand, on mother-of-pearl dial.

In front, is an admirable prancing horse with hind legs rearing to protect the historic wonder.

First glance at back side, surprises with a stunning hand engraved depiction of the Great Wall in 22-carat red gold, oscillating weight next to the Jaquet Droz signature of two stars.

The 39mm dial watch consists of a white enamel background with two of the most beautiful Arab horses painted on top. 

On each of these models, a horse’s head is painted or carved, on the back of the white gold oscillating weight.

All three watches come accompanied with brown or black alligator leather strap. Jaquet Droz horse watches will be available in stores in limited edition, in 2014.
